Mr. Christodoulos Damianou
Mr. Damianou,
has over 20 years of experience in local and international
tax consulting, specializing in international tax
structuring and planning including real estate structuring,
and Joint Ventures. Apart from his wealth of experience
in tax matters he has also conducted numerous seminars
on International Tax Planning, Accounting and Management
Consulting. He is a constituted member in a great
number of international associations like STEP,
IFA, SELK, IPTI, Offshore Institute and many more.
Previously
in his career he was a Board member of a top-20
international accounting network as well as Chairman
of the European, the Middle East and the African
Region. Mr. Damianou has also served as President
of the Junior Chamber of Cyprus.
Holder
of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
from Southern Illinois University and more extensively
he is a Certified Public Accountant and a Member
of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Damianou is a regular participant in international
tax conferences and events and is the author of
numerous taxation articles published in the Press
and International magazines.
Mr. Christos
Mavrellis
Mr Christos
Mavrellis is a lawyer, practising in Limassol since
1972. He is the senior partner of the well-known
firm Chrysses Demetriades & Co. LLC and he is
personally involved extensively in corporate law
matters, banking, international tax planning and
foreign investments.
Mr Mavrellis has
served as Minister of Communications and Public
Works of the Republic of Cyprus from 1982 – 1985
and as Minister of Finance of the Republic from
1985 – 1988.
He is the Vice-Chairman
of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA),
an association created by the Government of Cyprus
for the promotion of investments.
He has published
numerous articles in international magazines and
has presented various legal issues in international
conferences. He serves as a member on the board
of directors of various public companies, including
banks. He has advised various governments on various
tax laws.
